Peckforton Castle:

The luxury hotel & wedding venue required extensive renovations and alterations. Countless doors were knocked through to connect suitable hotel suits. All the spiral staircases had protective granite strips inlaid. Much of the walls were repointed and roofs cleaned off. The bell tower was repaired and rebuilt. The shear density of this building made for a great challenge. Some of the doors that were knocked through required almost 3 foot thick walls to be cut out, the stone carved into returns, and sufficient lintels and corbels added. All in all the project required months worth of restoration to produce the beautiful suits it showcases today.
